PUBLIC NOTICE OF AMENDMENT REQUEST TO THE WDEQ INDUSTRIAL SITING PERMIT FOR THE SETTLER WIND FARM PROJECT; DEQ/ISC 23-04

Notice is hereby given that the Industrial Siting Division received an amendment request on December 30, 2025 from AES, parent company of Settler Wind, LLC (Permittee) regarding the Settler Wind Farm Project in Converse County. The Permittee requested to amend the Permit to reflect start of construction to on or before November 14, 2027.

Pursuant to Condition #11, the Director may authorize proposed changes so long as no party or Council Member requests that the matter be heard before the Council during its first quarter meeting at 9:00 am, on March 24, 2026. The meeting will be held at the Department of Workforce Services Building, Gannett Peak and Grand Teton rooms, 5221 Yellowstone Road, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82009.

At this time, it is the Director's intention to authorize the change on or after February 5, 2026, unless the Division receives a request by 5:00pm on February 4, 2026, that these matters be heard by the Council. If the Division receives a request to be heard by the Council, this matter will be heard at the meeting on March 24, 2026.
