Assigned by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, arrived Sunday in Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea, to attend the Foreign Ministers' Meeting of the Africa-Korea Partnership scheduled for 1-2 June.
The meeting, which will bring together African foreign Ministers and their counterparts from the Republic of Korea, will be dedicated to assessing progress made in implementing the outcomes of the first Africa-Korea Summit held in June 2024, reviewing the development prospects of this partnership, and preparing for upcoming related events.
Algeria's participation in the event "is part of its commitment to fostering the bilateral strategic partnership with the Republic of Korea, a friendly country, and to supporting efforts aimed at aligning the Africa-Korea partnership with the development goals enshrined in the African Union's Agenda 2063.
