Daytime Connector Closure on Eastbound Interstate 80 to Eastbound State Route 4 for Electrical Work and Maintenance Activities

Scheduled: Saturday, October 3rd, 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Contra Costa County - The Caltrans maintenance crew will close the eastbound I-80to-SR-4 connector during the day on Saturday, October 3, for electrical work and maintenance. The closure will be in effect from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. From eastbound I-80, take the Cummings Skyway exit to eastbound SR-4. For current District 4 lane closure information click here. Traffic Control Measures:

Changeable message signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. Motorists are advised to expect delays, prepare to merge and allow for extra travel time. Please remember to slow down for the Cone Zone, stay alert, and help keep everyone safe during construction.
