The performance is part of Red Clay Strays' "Grateful" North American tour, named in celebration of the band's third album, which will be released on streaming platforms on June 5. Concert organizers characterize the band as one having a unique sound that blends elements of rock and country.
Special guest SWEET TALK, a high-energy six-piece Americana band, will open for Red Clay Strays.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. on the day of the concert. Metal detectors will screen attendees at the entrance doors, and bags larger than small clutch purses (4.5 by 6.5 inches) will not be allowed into the venue.
MSU's Brick Breeden Fieldhouse - the primary venue for men's and women's basketball and the MSU Rodeo team - is a multi-purpose arena that has long been a staple in the world of live music in Montana. With a capacity of 8,455 seats, the arena has hosted big names such as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bob Dylan and Snoop Dogg.
About the Red Clay Strays
Hailing from Mobile, Alabama, the Red Clay Strays - Brandon Coleman (lead vocals, guitar), Drew Nix (guitar and vocals), Zach Rishel (guitar), Andrew Bishop (bass) and John Hall (drums) - bonded as young, working-class men raised on Lynyrd Skynyrd riffs.
With a sound straddling fiery Southern rock riffs, tender-hearted soul music and tried-and-true country crooning, the Strays rose from backroad Gulf Coast gigs to become a sought-after act in country and rock circles. The band self-released its debut album, "Moment of Truth," in 2022.
