PR No. 63 Telephone call between the Prime Minister and the Crown Prince of the Ki

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a telephone conversation with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, this afternoon.

During their warm and cordial conversation, the two leaders discussed the ongoing hostilities in the region.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering and unflinching solidarity and support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the wake of the ongoing attacks, and reiterated Pakistan's condemnation of the attack at the Al Jubeil oil facility in Saudi Arabia earlier today.

He assured His Royal Highness the Crown Prince that the people and the Government of Pakistan would always stand shoulder to shoulder with their Saudi brothers and sisters, just as the Saudi leadership and people had always supported Pakistan, through thick and thin.

The Prime Minister lauded the wisdom and sagacity of the Saudi leadership in exercising maximum restraint during the ongoing crisis, and stated that Pakistan was working assiduously for the success of the peace efforts, in partnership with other countries. He also apprised the Crown Prince on latest developments in Pakistan's mediation efforts to de-escalate the Middle East crisis.

The Prime Minister conveyed his warm wishes and respectful regards for The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The Crown Prince appreciated Pakistan's peace efforts, aimed at restoring peace and stability in the region.
