Quick Work Leads To Arrest Of Robbery Suspect Thursday

Quick work by Violent Crimes Division detectives and West Precinct patrol officers led to Thursday's arrest of Joshua Parham, 45, a short time after he robbed a Charlotte Pike Cracker Barrel.
Parham walked into the restaurant and demanded money from the register, to which an employee complied. He fled with cash in a white Chevy Impala.

The Impala was located on I-40 by detectives and followed to a home on Aspen Drive where Parham was taken into custody. Cash was recovered from his pocket.

Parham, who had four outstanding theft warrants from various hardware store shoplifting incidents last month, was also charged with aggravated robbery. He remains jailed this morning on $40,000 bond.
