Months of investigation into a series of vehicle burglaries across Nashville has now led to the indictment of five men on a total of 356 criminal counts ranging from auto burglary, auto theft, gun theft and vandalism.
The five suspects are accused of acting together or individually to break into vehicles in the parking lots of airport-area hotels/motels, in the downtown area, and parked vehicles belonging to NES linemen working during the winter ice storm.
"The crimes we suspect these defendants of committing impacted countless victims, both local residents and visitors to Nashville," said Chief John Drake. "I am grateful to our Vehicle Crimes team for the months of meticulous detective work that is holding them accountable."

Kedarrius Talley, 20, was taken into custody Wednesday evening just after leaving his Hermitage residence. A subsequent search of the home and a vehicle parked outside led to the discovery of a 3-D printed machinegun conversion device for an AR-15, pistol parts, pistol magazines, a pistol equipped with a part to make it fully automatic, and 600 rounds of ammunition. Talley was booked on multiple gun counts prior to being served with the 49-count vehicle burglary indictment that pertains to him.
The last of the five defendants, Kevon Harlan, 22, was apprehended Thursday night when he arrived at the residence of an associate on 14th Avenue North. During the execution of a search warrant at the home, detectives recovered three pistols (one stolen from a vehicle downtown last November, another stolen from a vehicle in Antioch in November 2023), 138 grams of pressed cocaine, 26 grams of fentanyl, and 67 fentanyl pills. Charges in regard to those items are pending. For now, Harlan is jailed on the 36-count indictment that pertains to him.
