US-2 intersection work in Wakefield set for Nov. 12
WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Crews from the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and the City of Wakefield will be removing overhead beacons at the US-2/Putnam Street intersection in Wakefield on Thursday, Nov. 12.
Drivers should expect intermittent lane closures at the intersection between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. MDOT urges caution when approaching the intersection while work is in progress.
This work is in preparation for an upcoming US-2 project that will include reconfiguring the intersection.
