Hall Co. community centers partially close to receive upgrades, repairs

Some of the amenities at East Hall, Mulberry Creek and North Hall community centers will be temporarily unavailable in the coming weeks while scheduled maintenance and facility upgrades are underway, ultimately enhancing the safety and services at each facility.

"While these repairs and upgrades will cause minor inconveniences at three of our community centers, we are committed to minimizing disruptions during the process through a scheduled, phased approach," Director of Hall County Parks and Community Services Brent Holloway said. "Once completed, these projects will provide a greater guest experience to the residents and visitors who utilize our community centers, and we are excited to be able to do that and thank our patrons in advance for their patience while we get to that point."

Improvements include walking track repairs and gym floor resurfacing. The following schedule will be in place while work is being completed:

• East Hall Community Center (3911 P. Davidson Road | 678-450-1540)
  • Walking Track Closed: Sept. 22 - Sept. 28
  • Walking Track Reopens: Sept. 29
  • Fitness Room Closed: Sept. 25 - Sept. 28
  • Fitness Room Reopens: Sept. 29
  • Gym Closed: Oct. 1 - Oct. 5
  • Gym Reopens: Oct. 6
• Mulberry Creek Community Center (4491 JM Turk Road | 770-965-7140)
  • Gym Closed: Sept. 29 - Oct. 3
  • Gym Reopens: Oct. 4
• North Hall Community Center (4175 Nopone Road | 770-535-8280)
  • Gym Closed: Sept. 30 - Oct. 4
  • Gym Reopens: Oct. 5

Flyers will be in place to remind the public of these scheduled closures. Additionally, regular updates will be shared on the Hall County Parks and Leisure social media channels, as well as on the Hall County website at hallcounty.org.
