Spain condemns Israeli bombardment of southern and eastern Lebanon
War must be avoided at all costs. All parties must respect the lives of civilians and the basic principles of international humanitarian law. Tensions need to be de-escalated and UN Security Council Resolution 1701 needs to be fully implemented.
An immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza is absolutely necessary to reduce regional tension.
