Drug take back day



Unused or expired medications and vaping devices aren't just clutter - they can put your family, home, and environment at risk. Join us for Roseville's prescription take-back event and safely dispose of them. Two official drop-off locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to collect your unused or expired medications and vaping devices.

When dropping off medications or vaping devices, please:

  • Leave pills and liquids in their original containers
  • Remove batteries from vaping devices
  • Cross out or remove personal information on labels

By taking part, you're helping prevent drug misuse, accidental poisonings, and environmental harm.

What CAN be accepted

  • Prescription medications
  • Over-the-counter non-prescription medications
  • Veterinary medications
  • Vaping devices (without batteries)

What CAN'T be accepted

  • Needles or lancets
  • Medical waste
  • Illegal substances, including marijuana
