WASHINGTON- For Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26), Congressman Tom Emmer secured approximately $43 million in funding for hard infrastructure projects across Minnesota's Sixth Congressional District.

Background

Through the FY26 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Bill, Rep. Emmer secured:

• $1.5 million for Town Line Road Reconstruction
• $1.5 million for CSAH 19 & CSAH 123 Intersection Improvements
• $3.7 million for Highway 24 in Clearwater
• $7 million for Heatherwood Road Infrastructure & Multi-Modal Improvements
• $7 million for Minnesota State Highway 65 & Bunker Lake Blvd Project
• $4 million for Levee Modernization in the City of Carver

Through the FY26 Interior Appropriations Bill, Rep. Emmer secured:

• $2 million for the City of Sartell's Force Main Project
• $1.6 million for the City of Norwood Young America's Water Infrastructure Improvement
• $2 million for the City of Montrose's Wastewater Treatment Plant Regionalization Project
• $2 million for the City of St. Francis for Water and Sewer Infrastructure Upgrades
• $2 million for the City of Foley for Water Treatment Plant and Well Construction
• $2 million for the City of Gilman's Infrastructure Improvement Project
• $2 million for the Laketown Township for Community Sewer Improvement Project
• $2 million for the City of Big Lake for Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements

Through the FY26 Commerce, Justice, Science Appropriations Bill, Rep. Emmer secured:

• $2,535,071 for the Sherburne County Jail

All of these projects are important investments in Minnesota's Sixth Congressional District. Thanks to this funding, our roads will be safer, our communities will be more secure, and Minnesotans will have access to clean water and critical sanitation infrastructure.
