Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan and Georgia

On June 19, 2026, during the official visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia to the Republic of Tajikistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin held talk with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Bochorishvili.

In the course of meeting, the further development of bilateral relations was discussed. Particular attention was given to the prospects for political dialogue, as well as to strengthening trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

The Sides exchanged views on important topics on the international agenda and expressed their readiness to strengthen cooperation within international structures, in particular the UN and its relevant bodies.

They expressed their readiness to strengthen and expand constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Georgia.

The meeting was held in a spirit of mutual understanding and a friendly atmosphere.
