SLB has introduced its next-generation Cameron frac fluid delivery system - a fully electric solution designed to enhance efficiency, reliability and safety in hydraulic fracturing operations.
For many years, hydraulic actuation has been the industry norm for frac valve operations. SLB's new Cameron system marks an expansion to include robust electric actuation and automation. Operators now benefit from a streamlined, digitally enabled solution that raises efficiency and reduces operational complexity on site for any actuation type.
"At SLB, we are committed to redefining operational excellence for our customers," said Nick Cune, business line director for Surface Production Systems. "By leveraging our latest frac valve design and introducing innovative automation capabilities, our Cameron fluid delivery system significantly enhances performance across hydraulic fracturing operations."
The system centers on three main elements: the Cameron frac valve with maintenance-free features; electric actuation that delivers precise and dependable operation; and the ValveCommanderâ„¢ fluid delivery control. ValveCommander gives operators total digital control over any actuation type - empowering continuous pumping, improved uptime and enhanced safety at the wellsite.
The Cameron fluid delivery system also removes hydraulic fluids and reduces the use of diesel-powered equipment. This not only simplifies wellsite operations, but also supports customers' goals for safer, cleaner and more sustainable fracturing. With the Cameron frac fluid delivery system, SLB continues to lead the way in delivering next-generation solutions, delivering reliability, safety, and efficiency in hydraulic fracturing.
