State Secretary Valeriu Mija meets delegation of the British Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union

3 March 2026, Chișinău - State Secretary Valeriu Mija met with a delegation of the British Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The discussions focused on Moldova-UK cooperation and strengthening bilateral dialogue.

During the meeting, the State Secretary presented the Republic of Moldova's current priorities, with an emphasis on the European integration process and strengthening security. The progress of reforms carried out in these areas was also reviewed.

Members of the British delegation expressed interest in the progress achieved by the Republic of Moldova and appreciated the efforts of the authorities in Chișinău to strengthen resilience and promote regional security.

The parties underlined the importance of maintaining an active dialogue and agreed to continue cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
