RFP: Community Engagement Consultant for Carnegie Library Reuse Planning

The City of San Rafael is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms or agencies to lead a community engagement process focused on the preservation and future reuse of the historic Carnegie Library in Downtown San Rafael. Following the passage of Measure P, the City is seeking community input to help shape a vision for the building's future civic, community, or community-serving commercial use after the library relocates to a new downtown facility at Albert Park. Community engagement is anticipated to begin in winter/spring 2027.
