Holsters vs. Hoses BBQ Competition

On April 29, the entire City staff was invited to a BBQ challenge between the Police and Fire Departments called Holsters vs. Hoses. Well over 100 people attended the event and enjoyed the best both departments had to offer including tri tip, chicken, macaroni and potato salads.

The lunchtime event proved to be a great opportunity for a little friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and some well-earned camaraderie between departments. Participants brought their best efforts (and a healthy dose of strategy), making for an entertaining break in the day.

While all teams showed impressive spirit, the Police Department managed to edge out the competition this time around-earning both bragging rights and a round of good-natured applause. We're already looking forward to the next chance to even the score!
