Key Excerpts:

ON RESPONDING TO ISIS ATTACK:

Sen. Banks: "We saw the rise of ISIS around the world under the Biden years… I served in Afghanistan, and we saw ISIS-K rise in Afghanistan after the disastrous withdrawal by the Biden administration. Now we're seeing it, again, rear its head in Syria and other places… there willbe hell to pay for those who are responsible for that attack on American troops. But Donald Trump rooted out and took out the ISIS caliphate in his first termwithout starting another forever war. He's going to do that again. And I'm going to be there to back him up on the Armed Services Committee. This week we're going topass the NDAA in the Senate. It passed out of the House last week. And it will goa long way to modernize and rebuild the military after it took a step backwardsunder the Biden."

ON DRUG BOAT STRIKES:

Sen. Banks: "The fact of the matter is that the president is doing exactly what he was elected to do to take out and strike the narco-terrorists who are flooding drugs into this country. This oil tanker, for example, it was designated as an illegal activity by the Biden administration… President Trump is doing what he's supposed to do as Commander -in -Chief to save American lives, our sons, our daughters, our neighbors, our family members who have been affected by drug overdoses and hold those who are responsible for it accountable. 71 % of Americans support what President Trump is doing on that front, and I stand with him, too."

ON REDISTRICTING:

Sen. Banks: "I stood with the president to support redistricting. And the primaries in Indiana are in May. There will be a lot of primaries. Primaries are healthy. And I'll just tell you this. Donald Trump remains the most popular Republican in the state of Indiana. I've seen all the polling, recent polling. You don't want to be on the other side of Donald Trump. And I can tell you that from personal experience. He endorsed me when I ran for the Senate. He cleared the field. And I'm Senator today largely because of that endorsement. So those primaries will happen, but it's not about Donald Trump. It's about the country. It's about keeping the Republican majority in the House of Representatives and addressing issues like health and saving this country from those who want to tear it down… I'm focused on fighting for Indiana and for our country. President Trump loves Indiana, Indiana loves President Trump. There were a small handful of Republican senators in the state senate who voted against him and they'll have to face the voters in May and November we'll see how it plays out."
