Booker Continues Annual 21-County Tour with Stops in Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, and Salem Counties

NEW JERSEY - Today, U.S. Senator Cory Booker continued his annual 21-County Tour with events in Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, and Salem Counties, meeting with students, health care professionals, food assistance advocates, and business leaders across South Jersey.

In Burlington County, Senator Booker began the day at the South Jersey Chamber of Commerce, where he met with local businesses, listened to their concerns, and discussed his advocacy for South Jersey's economic growth, including his work on infrastructure, workforce development, and small business support.

In Camden County, Senator Booker visited Cathedral Kitchen, South Jersey's largest emergency meal provider. He toured the culinary arts training program, met with graduates building new career pathways, and joined volunteers preparing meals and care bags. The visit highlighted his record of securing federal funding to combat hunger and support workforce development programs that create opportunity, as New Jerseyans face massive cuts to SNAP and food assistance programs under the Trump administration.

In Gloucester County, Senator Booker presented Inspira Health Network with a $2 million FY26 Congressionally Directed Spending award to modernize technology and expand telehealth services. At the event, Senator Booker discussed how he is standing against the Trump administration's policies that are raising the cost of health care and jeopardizing access to care, as well as his work in the Senate strengthening rural health infrastructure and expanding access to care for underserved communities.

In Salem County, Senator Booker toured the Salem Community College Glass Education Center, home to the nation's only Scientific Glass Technology degree program. He met with students and instructors whose specialized craft supports scientific research worldwide, tying the visit to his broader advocacy for federal investments in STEM education and workforce training.

"As the Trump administration pursues an agenda of chaos, corruption, and cruelty, the people of South Jersey are doing what our state does best: stepping up for each other. Everywhere I go across South Jersey, I see the power and resilience of our people. I see doctors and nurses working to provide more services to rural communities at a time when health care costs are skyrocketing. I see volunteers providing food to those struggling as the Trump administration's savage cuts to SNAP and food assistance leave too many families facing hunger.
