Annual fire evacuation drills: Oct. 12-14
UAA Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) will be conducting the University's annual evacuation drills Oct. 12-14 in buildings across the Anchorage campus.
During these drills, staff, students, and faculty will be expected to evacuate their buildings to simulate an emergency event and practice emergency evacuation procedures. When a building is in alarm, loud horns will sound, and strobe lights will be activated. Staff and faculty can work with their building manager to determine which day their respective building will be conducting an evacuation drill.
