Maharashtra GNM Counselling Registration 2026 Begins: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has officially launched the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) registration for GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) courses under the Public Health Department for the 2026-27 academic session. Online registration and application submission officially began on August 29, 2026, and candidates must submit their online forms by September 04, 2026 (up to 11:59 PM) . The online registration fee payment portal remains active from August 29, 2026, to September 05, 2026 (up to 08:00 PM), while original scanned documents can be uploaded through September 05, 2026 (up to 11:59 PM).
Qualified candidates who appeared for the MH-NURSING CET 2026 must complete their separate CAP registration on the official portals at medical2026.mahacet.org or mahacet.org to secure admission.
Candidates participating in the GNM CAP rounds must carefully track the admission schedule released by the Maharashtra State CET Cell:
Online Registration & Application Apply: August 29, 2026, to September 04, 2026 (up to 11:59 PM)
Online Registration Fee Payment: August 29, 2026, to September 05, 2026 (up to 08:00 PM)
Document Uploading (Original Scanned Copies): August 29, 2026, to September 05, 2026 (up to 11:59 PM)

Publication of Registered Candidate List & Provisional Merit List: September 07, 2026
Mandatory CAP Registration: Appearing for the MH-NURSING CET 2026 does not automatically grant admission; filling out the online CAP registration form is mandatory.
EWS Certificate Format: Reserved EWS candidates must present an EWS certificate valid for AY 2026-27 issued strictly in the Maharashtra State format. Central Government formats are invalid.
Caste Validity Relief for OBC & SEBC: Per the Government Resolution dated July 02, 2026, OBC and SEBC category candidates who have submitted their CVC receipt are granted a 6-month extension from registration day to submit their final Caste Validity Certificate.
Physical Joining & Fee Payment: Candidates must join allotted colleges physically with original documents and pay fees via Demand Draft (DD). Cheque payment is allowed only on bank holidays and must be replaced by a DD on the immediate next working day to avoid admission cancellation.
