The loan will strengthen Ringkjøbing Landbobank's capacity to provide long-term financing that matches the typical maturity profile of loans granted to SMEs, SMCs and environmental projects.
With this loan, Ringkjøbing Landbobank will continue to channel financing to renewable energy projects such as wind, solar and biogas, as well as to smaller businesses that face more limited access to long-term funding.
Ringkjøbing Landbobank is a long-standing partner of NIB for on-lending to environmental projects and SMEs in Denmark.
Lars Hindø, chief of staff, Ringkjøbing Landbobank A/S said: "Ringkjøbing Landbobank has collaborated with NIB for many years, and with this new loan, we look forward to continuing this strong partnership."
André Küüsvek, NIB President and CEO said: "Smaller businesses and environmental projects often need financing with longer time horizons. By working through a trusted local bank, this loan helps make long-term funding available to companies and projects that support sustainable growth across Denmark."
Established in 1886, Ringkjøbing Landbobank is a Danish regional and niche bank with retail banking operations in central, western and northern Jutland, and niche operations throughout Denmark.
