One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Amador County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct various lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-88 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows:

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control from Empire Street to Main Street/Plymouth Shenandoah Road for highway construction work beginning Sunday, July 27, 2025, through Monday, July 28, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Empire Street to Main Street/Plymouth Shenandoah Road for highway construction work beginning Monday, July 28, 2025, through Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control at Valley View Ridge Drive for utility work beginning Wednesday, July 30, 2025, through Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.

State Route 88

  • One-way traffic control from SR-124 to SR-49 for highway construction work beginning Sunday, July 27, 2025, through Friday, August 1, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control at Wicklow Way for utility work beginning Wednesday, July 30, 2025, through Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control at SR-104/Ridge Road for utility work beginning Thursday, July 31, 2025, through Friday, August 1, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Taves Road to Hilltop Street for tree work on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Omo Ranch Road to Hams Station Entrance for drainage work beginning Monday, July 28, 2025, through Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
