UPDATE: Northbound & Southbound I-280 Freeway Partial Lane Closures Weekend of October 2-5, at Mariposa & the I-280/US 101 Interchange

San Francisco County - Caltrans is planning a 55-hour weekend lane reduction of northbound and southbound Interstate 280 (NB/SB I-280) as part of the I-280 Rehabilitation and Pedestrian Overcrossing Project. This will limit both southbound and northbound lanes, leaving only one lane available to traffic in each direction.

The lane reductions begin Friday, October 2, 10 p.m. until Monday, October 5, 5 a.m. The work will take place between Mariposa Street and the U.S. 101 Interchange and involves installing a polyester concrete deck overlay to improve long-term pavement durability and ride quality.
