Meeting with the U.S. Ambassador to Uzbekistan

On March 3, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Uzbekistan Jonathan Henick.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda. Particular attention was given to the progress in the implementation of previously reached agreements at the highest and high levels.

The parties discussed prospects for further deepening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States, with a focus on developing trade and economic relations. The schedule of upcoming joint activities was reviewed.

The parties also had a detailed exchange of views on current regional issues, including the situation in the Middle East.
