As part of their fellowship, the students will compete in a real estate development competition, such as the Colvin Case Study Competition, which challenges participants to analyze and document innovative real-estate projects while testing their skills in market analysis, finance, design, and sustainability. OWU's Westwood Fellows also will complete a relevant internship or externship, a relevant professional certification, or two related course offerings.

Ohio Wesleyan graduates Andy Warnock, Class of 2006, and Cole Antle, Class of 2021, created the Westwood Fellows Program with a seven-figure endowment, making them the youngest donors in OWU history to give at this level. The first-of-its-kind initiative is dedicated to producing graduates who are broadly educated in the liberal arts and specifically skilled in real estate, development, and community impact.
