South Central Kansas - Yesterday, U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kansas), completed day 4 of his 4 Corners 50 Counties tour, making stops in 7 counties across South Central Kansas to meet directly with farmers, small business owners, manufacturers, health care providers, and aerospace leaders.
As wildfires continue to impact southwest Kansas, Senator Marshall is praying for the families, ranchers, and first responders working to protect their communities. He and his team are in contact with local authorities and are offering their assistance.

BTI Corporation - Kiowa County
Senator Marshall visited BTI Corporation, a long-time, family-owned John Deere dealer serving farmers across central and western Kansas. They discussed the new EPA right-to-repair guidance that protects farmers' ability to fix their own equipment using tools and software, and updated rules on DEF systems that help tractors run smoothly.
The Senator also highlighted tax victories from the Working Families Tax Cuts Act, including permanent bonus depreciation, small business deductions, and a stronger biofuel tax credit that rewards American feedstocks.
Main Street Pharmacy - Comanche County
At Main Street Pharmacy, Senator Marshall met with local pharmacists to discuss pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) reform and protecting access to care in rural communities.
The Working Families Tax Cuts Act created the Rural Health Transformation Fund, delivering $221.9 million to Kansas. The law also preserved telehealth flexibilities, prevented physician payment cuts, expanded HSA access, and increased oversight of PBMs. They also discussed the new TrumpRx program and how it is already lowering prescription drug costs.
Medicine Lodge Meat Company - Barber County
Senator Marshall toured Medicine Lodge Meat Company, the only rural processor in Kansas offering USDA-grading for custom beef. He talked about his work on the DIRECT Act to expand the market for state-inspected beef and the Beef Labeling Clarity Act to ensure clear meat labeling for Kansas producers.
Blanchat Manufacturing Inc. - Harper County
In Harper, Senator Marshall visited Blanchat Manufacturing, Inc., a manufacturer of wildland and quick-attack fire trucks used nationwide.
The conversation focused on tax provisions that restore 100% bonus depreciation, expand Section 179 expensing, allow immediate factory expensing, and reinstate full R&D deductions - policies that help Kansas manufacturers invest and grow.
GKN Aerospace - Sumner County
Senator Marshall also stopped at GKN Aerospace in Wellington, a major aerospace supplier supporting U.S. defense and commercial aviation.
They discussed strengthening domestic aerospace manufacturing, supporting export growth, and ensuring Kansas workers remain competitive in the global aviation industry.
Western Industries Plastic Products, LLC - Cowley County
Senator Marshall concluded the day at Western Industries Plastic Products, a Wellington-based manufacturer employing about 200 Kansans and producing large custom plastic components used in agriculture, medical equipment, and other industries.
They discussed Senator Marshall's bipartisan Investing in All of America Act, which would help direct more private capital into rural manufacturing and tax wins that made bonus depreciation and the 20% small business deduction permanent.
