BPD in the Community: District B-2 Officers are Part of the Team at ‘No Books No Ball’

Officers from District B-2 joined the action at the No Books No Ball basketball scrimmages at Orchard Gardens School in Roxbury!

District officers and members of the BPD CIT - Community Interaction Team helped students and parents cross nearby streets, ensuring everyone got inside safely.

Then the officers handed out jerseys and cheered on the young athletes as they showcased their skills on the court.

Teamwork and Community Policing are one in the same-building connections, supporting our youth, and showing up for those big and small moments…it all matters.
