Jobs Growth Highlights Need for H-2B Visa Expansion, Temporary Workers

WASHINGTON -

U.S. Travel Association President and CEO Geoff Freeman issued the following statement on the September jobs report:

"Today's job report points to growth in the travel industry workforce and underscores its resilience. Still, with over a million leisure and hospitality job openings, expanding the H-2B visa program should be a priority to support the small and seasonal businesses that depend on temporary workers to meet the strong demand for travel."
