City of Vista Statement on Moonlight Amphitheatre Concessions RFP

City of Vista Statement on Moonlight Amphitheatre Concessions RFP

On November 13, 2025, the City of Vista issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for concessions services at the Moonlight Amphitheatre as part of its standard five-year contract cycle. The current agreement is set to expire this year, and the City initiated a competitive process to identify a vendor for the next term.

Following the review of submitted proposals and in consideration of recent community input, the City has elected to reject all bids at this time and reopen the solicitation process.

Reissuing the RFP will allow the City to further align the concessions program with community expectations while maintaining a fair and competitive process. The City remains committed to delivering a high-quality experience at the Moonlight Amphitheatre and will move forward with an updated RFP in the coming weeks.

The final concession agreement will be presented to the Vista City Council for review and approval later this spring.
