'Pet of the Week' - Sonar

To spread the word about animal adoption and to help these loving animals find fur-ever homes, the City of Lewisville will feature a Pet of the Week each week in this media packet, available for adoption at the Gene Carey Animal Shelter and Adoption Center, 995 E. Valley Ridge.

This week's featured pet is Sonar, a nearly 1-year-old male Shepherd mix.

Sonar is lively puppy who needs an active home to enjoy his enthusiasm and be able to teach him manners. He is very friendly with other dogs and really loves to play. He has tested positive for heartworms, but don't let that scare you away. Heartworm disease is very treatable, and Lewisville Animal Services will provide his heartworm treatment.
