STONY BROOK MEDICINE COMMUNITY MEDICAL GROUP WELCOMES DAVID REAVIS, MD, FACOG, AND HIS PRACTICE TO OUR COMMUNITY NETWORK

EAST PATCHOGUE, NY, MAY 12, 2026 - David Reavis, MD, FACOG, with his practice, Patchogue Gynecology, has joined Stony Brook Medicine Community Medical Group, part of Stony Brook Medicine's expanding network of community practices. This addition expands access to high-quality, compassionate gynecologic care for patients in Patchogue and the surrounding communities.

"I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Reavis for 32 years. He is an outstanding clinician and educator who is dedicated to improving the care of women. Dr. Reavis brings decades of experience caring for patients with complex obstetric and gynecologic conditions. He earned his medical degree from the Yale School of Medicine and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he served as chief resident.

"We are proud to formally enter the Stony Brook Medicine community - one we have proudly served for the last 30 years," said Dr. Reavis. "We are excited to begin our next chapter together, and remain committed to providing the attentive, compassionate care our patients deserve."

Dr. Reavis is dedicated to delivering comprehensive care for patients at every stage of life, offering services that range from routine gynecologic care and menopause management to the treatment of complex conditions and minimally invasive surgical procedures. His clinical interests include advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, including myomectomy, laparoscopic and vaginal hysterectomy, ureterolysis and endometrial ablation.

The addition of Dr. Reavis and his practice reflects Stony Brook Medicine's continued commitment to expanding access to expert, patient-centered care across Long Island.
