The public ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the swearing in of new attorneys by Assignment Judge Marc C. Lemieux.
The memorial service will follow at 9 a.m. with Judge Lemieux presiding. This year, attendees will honor Superior Court Presiding Judge Thomas F. Scully, former Monmouth County Prosecutor John Kaye, former Monmouth County Counsel Malcom Carton, and attorneys Frank DeSevo, Jeffrey B. Gale, Toby Grabelle, Philip E. This special event will also include the swearing-in of new attorneys, marking the continuation of that legacy as they join the noble ranks of the legal profession," Judge Lemieux said.
The event will be held in the Honorable Lawrence Lawson Ceremonial Courtroom, 307 West, third floor of the Monmouth County Courthouse, 71 Monument Park, Freehold.
The bar association will hold a reception following the ceremony in its lawyers' lounge on the lower level of the courthouse.
