NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION
LAS 30168
Pursuant to AS 46.15.133 and 11 AAC 93.080, notice is hereby given that the University of Alaska Anchorage, 3211 Providence Drive, Anchorage, Alaska 99508 applied for a permit to appropriate water on March 20th, 2015. The application proposes the following:
The withdrawal of water, up to 720,000 gallons per day, March 1st through October 1st each year for cooling water from a drilled well located within Tract A of the UAA Seawolf Subdivision, further located within the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter (NE ¼ SE ¼) of Section 28, Range 3 West, Township 13 North, Seward Meridian, State of Alaska.
Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above-listed address or to [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. on February 10th, 2025. Objection must include the objector's name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed appropriation.
