The new openings include Dunkin', operated by HMSHost; Harbor Exchange, operated by Paradies Lagardère; and Brookstone, operated by Hudson. Together, these additions enhance the Airport's food and retail mix and are a key element of concessions redevelopment alongside the Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which prioritizes modernization, guest experience, and economic vitality.
"A positive traveler experience is a priority," stated Chair Doug Chaffee, Fourth District. "These new dining and retail options reflect a commitment to enhancing the guest experience by offering a variety of choices."
Vice Chair Katrina Foley, Fifth District, said, "These new concession openings support local jobs and local boutique businesses, stimulate economic activity, and reinforce John Wayne Airport's role as an important economic driver for Orange County."
Founded in 1950, Dunkin' is the largest coffee and donut brand in the United States, with more than 14,000 restaurants in nearly 40 global markets. Operated at JWA by HMSHost, the new Dunkin' location (pre-security, Terminal B, baggage claim) offers coffee, espresso beverages, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, and grab-and-go items designed to serve travelers efficiently.
Operated by Paradies Lagardère, Harbor Exchange showcases curated retail offerings inspired by Southern California, featuring travel essentials, gifts, and locally influenced merchandise that reflect the region's character and culture (post-security, Terminal A, across from Gate 8).
Brookstone, operated by Hudson (post-security, Terminal A, across from Gate 8), brings an innovative electronics and lifestyle retail experience to the Airport, offering technology products and accessories from leading brands such as Apple, Beats, Bose, Sony, and more, along with specialty gadgets designed for travel.
"This is just the beginning of the concessions redevelopment, and these openings reflect the continued attention on modernizing facilities and services for travelers," expressed Supervisor Janet Nguyen, First District.
Second District Supervisor Vicente Sarmiento stated, "The added dining and retail concepts help showcase the unique character of our County and provide both local selections and nationally recognized brands for our residents and guests."
"Strong partnerships with experienced concessionaires allow the Airport to deliver value to travelers while supporting responsible progress and economic investment," said Supervisor Don Wagner, Third District.
The new concessions support local and regional economic activity, generate jobs, and strengthen partnerships with nationally recognized operators while advancing JWA's commitment to providing a modern, welcoming, and convenient airport experience.
"John Wayne Airport is thrilled to welcome new partners to the Terminal," said Charlene Reynolds, Airport Director. "Expanding our food and beverage options is part of our continued commitment to curating a sense of place for a superior guest experience."
An event celebrating the new concessions held on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, included brief remarks, followed by ribbon-cuttings and photo opportunities at each location throughout the terminal.
