TRAFFIC ALERT - Kent County - East Camden Bypass Intersection Work
East Camden Bypass Intersection Work
Camden - ; The Delaware Department of Transportation announces that work related to the East Camden Bypass will be starting June 23rd through July 7th, at the intersection of Rising Sun Road and S. Old Mill Road. This work will require lane closures.
As part of the project, the Southbound portion of Rising Sun Road is being widened to incorporate a Left Turn Lane from Rising Sun Road to S Old Mill Road and a through lane. A new 4 way Stop Sign will also be installed at this intersection. Although this new 4 way Stop Sign is being installed as part of the project it will remain once the project has been completed.
Motorists are advised to use caution and reduce their speed in work zones.
