Virgin Media reaches 550,000 fibre upgrade milestone

Virgin Media has announced a major milestone in its fibre upgrade programme with over 550,000 fibre homes constructed and on target to reach 1 million premises upgraded to fibre in 2026.

As part of Virgin Media's commitment to building a smarter, faster, and more connected digital future, the company has also launched Ireland's first 5 gigabit fibre broadband service, which is available to customers right now.
