TDOT Celebrates the Completion of Its 49th and Final Road and Bridge Reopening from Hurricane Helene with Ribbon Cutting for the State Route 353 Bridge in Washington County

TDOT Commissioner Will Reid, and other federal, state, and local officials will visit Washington County on Wednesday, May 13, to celebrate the reopening of the State Route 353 Floyd W. "Jason" Lamb Jr. Memorial Bridge in Chuckey. This will be the 49th and final opening of a roadway or bridge that was closed due to Hurricane Helene in September 2024.

Wednesday's event will begin at 10:30 a.m. ET and last approximately 25 minutes.
