New Exhibition, 'Creative Expressions' On View in City Hall through August 4
The City of Frederick is pleased to present Creative Expressions, a group exhibition organized in collaboration with the Arc of Frederick County. The exhibition features new artwork and storyboards that highlight and celebrate the talent, expression, and the power of the arts to connect and uplift all members of the Arc of Frederick County community. Creative Expressions coincides with an exhibition of artwork from those in the Arc of Frederick County community at the Delaplaine Arts Center.
Featured artists are: Sarah Barks, Susha Campbell, Lesedi D'Andrea-Penna, Carol Debow, Grant Kelsey, Adam Nowaczyk, Erika Pineda, Kathy Shields, and Andre Smallwood.
The exhibition is on view at City Hall (101 N Court Street, Frederick, MD 21701) through Monday, August 4, 2025. Please join us for a reception with the Arc of Frederick County and the featured artists on Thursday, July 24, at 11:00 am. Light refreshments will be provided. City Hall is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

The Art in City Hall Program presents rotating exhibitions throughout the year, highlighting artists through partnerships with local arts and culture organizations, non-profits, schools, libraries, and community groups. Art in City Hall is currently accepting proposals for its 2025 and 2026 seasons. Please note that we do not accept proposals for solo exhibitions.
