Roadway Closure – Intersection of Harvard and Allan streets

Work details: This is to facilitate the installation of a diagonal traffic diverter as part of the Allan-Oak Local Street Bikeway in support of the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.

Traffic impact: This intersection will be closed to vehicle traffic while this work is underway. Drivers should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes where possible.

Following the completion of this work, the diagonal traffic diverter will be in place, preventing the use of Allan Street as a shortcut for drivers, making the area safer for residents, while maintaining access for emergency vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians. Learn more about this project here.
