Hear Our Voices: Residential School exhibit opening in City Hall

The City of Edmonton is hosting the Hear Our Voices: Michel People and Residential Schools exhibit in the City Room at City Hall from November 22, 2024 to March 2025.

The exhibit tells the stories of direct and intergenerational Survivors of Residential Schools from people of the former Michel Band #472, located on the northwest outskirts of Edmonton. At the exhibit, attendees can learn about the long-lasting trauma and challenges experienced by Indigenous people.

All Edmontonians are invited to experience the exhibit at City Hall during the operating hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends. Once past security, the exhibit can be found on the east side of the City Room.
