Dell Children’s Medical Group Primary Care Pediatrics Mueller & Cedar Park Celebrate Foster Care Center of Excellence Awards

Dell Children's Medical Group Primary Care Pediatrics Mueller and Cedar Park hosted a recognition event to celebrate their designation as one of the first Superior HealthPlan's Foster Care Centers of Excellence in the Austin area. This distinction acknowledges our commitment to providing exceptional, comprehensive healthcare and support services to children and youth in the STAR Health Medicaid foster care program.

"This designation reflects our unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare and support services to children and youth in foster care, and we look forward to continuing to strengthen this vital program."

The Foster Care Center of Excellence designation is awarded to those that meet rigorous standards for coordinate, trauma-informed for children and your in foster care. Recognized centers demonstrate strong collaboration across medical, behavioral health, and child-welfare partners while supporting STAR health members through comprehensive teen-based care.

Dell Children's Medical Group Primary Care Pediatrics Mueller and Cedar Park serves as a primary care home for children in the community from infancy through teenage years and provides compassionate, family-centered care including routine well-child checks, complex condition management, and care for unexpected, minor illnesses and injuries. The practice focuses on personalized care, addressing physical, developmental, mental health, social-emotional and other needs families have.

In collaboration with Dell Children's Medical Center and as a partner clinic with UT Health Austin, the practice prioritizes the delivery of evidence based medicine and teaching the next generation of physicians while also seamlessly connecting patients to a broader network of pediatric specialty care when needed.
