Commission Awards Contracts for Projects in Northeast District

HANNIBAL - During its regular meeting on October 7, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded the following contracts for seal coat and resurfacing projects in the Northeast District.

  • A $598,30 contract was awarded to W. L. Miller Company for a seal coat project on Route J in Audrain County, from Business U.S. 54 in Mexico to 0.1 mile west of U.S. Route 54 at Basinger Corner.
  • A $4.3 million contract was awarded to W. L. Miller Company for resurfacing projects in Adair, Knox, Linn, and Sullivan counties at the following locations:
    • Missouri Route 11 - from Missouri Route 15 near Baring in Knox County to Missouri Route 129 in Linn County (three disconnected sections):
      • Missouri Route 15 near Baring in Knox County to U.S. Route 63 in Kirkville in Adair County
      • U.S. Route 63 to Business U.S. 63 in Kirkville in Adair County
      • Business U.S. 63 in Kirkville in Adair County to Missouri Route 129 in Linn County
    • Missouri Route 6 - from just east of Business U.S. 63 to Village Avenue, just west of U.S. Route 63 in Kirksville in Adair County
