DALLAS - Dallas ISD and DART will hold a joint press conference at 10 a.m., tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Robert and Charmaine Price Career Institute South, to announce a recently launched Bus Maintenance Externship Program. Through the partnership, automotive students will gain hands-on experience in vehicle inspections, engine diagnostics, and fleet maintenance - preparing them for high-demand transit careers before graduation.

College fair connects students to opportunities after high school
Dallas ISD will host its annual Districtwide College Fair at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Ellis Davis Field House, bringing representatives from more than 130 colleges and universities directly to high school students. The event provides one-stop access for admissions information, FAFSA/financial aid guidance, and postsecondary pathway planning.
Bond community meeting
Dallas ISD will host a Bond Community Meeting at 6 p.m., tonight, Sept. 14, at L.L. Hotchkiss Elementary School to outline future plans for the campus. Community members are invited to attend, learn more about bond plans, and ask questions as the district continues planning for future improvements.
