Des Moines Hy-Vee Employee Honored with Picture on Truck for More Than 40 Years of Service

DES MOINES, Iowa (June 15, 2026) - The helpful smile of a Des Moines Hy-Vee employee is now featured on the side of a semi-trailer to honor the more than 40 years of service he has dedicated to the company.

Dean Cirksena's picture was unveiled Monday during a celebration at the Fleur Hy-Vee, where he serves as a meat cutter.

Hy-Vee first started featuring long-serving employees on semi-truck wraps in 1997, and it has since become a cherished tradition at the company.
