Citizen feedback encouraged at public hearing on proposed 2027 City Budget

The public is invited to give feedback on the proposed 2027 City Budget on Monday, October 26 at 5:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers at City Hall, 107 North Nevada Avenue.

Citizens wishing to speak at the Public Hearing are encouraged to sign up in advance by emailing [email protected] or by calling 719-385-5480. Advanced sign-up is not required to participate in the Public Hearing.

Under the City Charter, Council approves the annual budget by ordinance, with or without amendment. The proposed 2027 City Budget is available to review on the City's website at ColoradoSprings.gov/budget.

• Thursday, October 29, 2026, 9 a.m.: City Council 2027 Budget Markup Session
• Tuesday, November 10, 2026, 9 a.m.: First Reading of 2027 Budget Ordinance at the Regular Meeting of City Council
• Tuesday, November 24, 2026, 9 a.m.: Second Reading of 2027 Budget Ordinance at the Regular Meeting of City Council
