NATCA in the News: President Nick Daniels Interviewed on LiveNOW from Fox

NATCA President Nick Daniels was interviewed on LiveNOW from Fox by Josh Breslow on Thursday, Oct. 2. Daniels said Americans should know that air traffic controllers will continue doing the job they do, saving people's lives, assuring the safe movement of traffic through the National Airspace System. But he stressed that the unnecessary distraction of them not knowing when the shutdown will end or when they will be paid again affects the ability of air traffic controllers to perform the highly demanding, highly-complex, high-consequence work they do day in and day out. He called on Americans to engage Congress to end the shutdown and put all federal workers back to work.
