This summer and fall, eight Baruch undergraduates will participate in study abroad programs as recipients of the prestigious Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship.
Scholarship amounts range from $2,500 to $7,500, and two students also won Critical Needs Language Supplements to study Chinese.
Established by the U.S. Congress and funded by the Department of State, the highly competitive Gilman Program offers merit-based scholarships to American undergraduate students with high financial need, equipping them with the international experience, global networks, and foreign language skills that are essential to national security and economic prosperity.
Baruch students considering international academic experiences-whether through the Gilman Scholarship or other programs-are encouraged to connect with the Study Abroad Office, which is part of the Weissman Center for International Business.
Students also received dedicated support throughout the application process from Baruch's Office of National & Prestigious Fellowships Advising and the Financial Aid Services.
