350 Merrydale Affordable Housing Subcommittee to Meet Thursday August 20th

The City Council's new 350 Merrydale Affordable Housing Development Project Subcommittee will hold its first meeting on Thursday, August 20 at 5pm in Council Chambers at San Rafael City Hall, 1400 Fifth Avenue, San Rafael, 94901. The City Council formed this subcommittee to review the proposals from developers who want to build permanent affordable housing onsite and to guide the selection process before it reaches the full Council.

At this meeting, the subcommittee will hear a summary of the top responses to the  Request for Proposals (RFP) for affordable housing at 350 Merrydale and presentations from the affordable housing developers. After public comment, the subcommittee will share what staff should consider before finalizing a recommendation to the full City Council on which team offers the best proposal for developing affordable housing at 350 Merrydale.
