Fire Chief Vivier Details Improved Response Times Despite Increase in Call Volume
HENDERSON, Nev. (April 21, 2026) - The Henderson Fire Department presented a public safety update to Mayor and Council at today's City Council meeting, highlighting 2025 public safety achievements and year-end numbers.
HFD responded to 44,064 calls for service in 2025, a 1.1% increase from the previous year. HFD has reduced fire response times by 23 seconds and emergency medical service (EMS) response times by 11 seconds.
